For a perfect fit, measure a shirt that fits you well and compare it with the above measurements.
All sizes are measured before washing. Washed shirts do not lose much width when washed, but do shrink slightly in height.
If you cannot measure, please keep in mind that American Apparel shirts tend to be smaller, slimmer and more fitted than other t-shirt brands.
